Calgary, also known as "Cowtown" and "YYC", is a lively, diverse city with strong values and unlimited opportunities. Calgary is famous for the Calgary Stampede (the greatest outdoor show on earth), which is an annual ten day rodeo, festival, and exhibition. Calgary also hosted the Winter Olympics in 1988. Calgary is only one hour from the Rocky Mountains and Banff National Park, which offer some of the best skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and fishing in the world!
